This recipe was given to my grandmother's mother, to my grandmother and then to mine. It was found tucked in the back of an old book.

2 lbbeef toque

2 lgcarrots
-
2 lgonions

1 cketchup

1/4 canwater

salt and pepper
How To Make beef tonque, baked

1Boil tonque till tender,

2While boiling tonque, slice carrots diagonally and thinly slice the onions.

3When the tonque is tender, cool, peel and slice.

4Add salt and pepper.

5In a large roasting pan, place onions and cover with the carrots. add sliced tonque in layers. Cover all with ketchup and water. cover and bake at 350dg for 30 minutes.

6Stir and continue baking 30 minutes longer.
