Beef Stroganoff Sandwich

Ingredients

2 lb
ground beef
1/2 c
onion, finely chopped
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
garlic powder
1/2 tsp
pepper
1
french bread
2 c
sour cream
1 large
green bell pepper, diced
2
tomatoes, seeded and diced
3 c
cheddar cheese, shredded
butter

Directions Step-By-Step

In a skillet, brown ground beef and onion. Drain.

Add salt, garlic powder and pepper.

Cut bread lengthwise in half; butter both halves and place on baking sheet.

Remove meat mixture from the heat; stir in sour cream.

Spoon onto the bread. Sprinkle with tomatoes, green pepper and cheese.

Bake at 350 for 20 minutes or until the cheese is melted (bake longer for crispier bread).

This sounds interesting. Think I will save and make it for dinner some night, seems like I usually have almost all those ingredients sitting around my kitchen!
