Slow Cooker Crock Pot

Ingredients

1 medium
onion, chopped (about 1/2 cup)
2 c
celery. sliced
1 lb
red potatoes, scrubbed and cubed
2 lb
beef stew meat, cut into chunks
2 tsp
dried thyme leaves
1 can(s)
(14 1/2 oz.) hunt's dice tomatoes in juice
3/4 c
water
1 can(s)
(6 oz.) hunt's tomato paste

Step-By-Step

1Place onion evenly on the bottom of 3 1/2 quart or larger crockpot slow cooker.
2Add the following ingredients in this order: celery, potatoes and beef.
3Sprinkle with thyme.
4Pour diced tomatoes and water over the top of the beef.
5Cover; cook on LOW setting for 8 to 10 hours until meat is tender.
6Stir in tomato paste; cover.
7Cook for 10 minutes.
