Beef Noodle Casserole

This easy casserole was always a favorite with my kids and their friends.
Note: If you are in a hurry,you can substitute jarred spaghetti sauce for the homemade tomato sauce.

Ingredients

1 lb
ground beef
8 oz
grated american cheese
1 clove
garlic, minced
1 small
onion, chopped
1 small
green bell pepper, chopped
1 stalk(s)
celery, chopped
1 can(s)
condensed tomato soup, undiluted
1/4 c
sliced mushrooms
12
stuffed green olives, chopped
1 (6 oz.) can(s)
tomato paste
8 oz
egg noodles

Step-By-Step

1Place beef, onion, bell pepper, celery and garlic in a skillet.
2Cook on medium high until beef is done and veggies are soft.
3Add the sliced mushrooms and cook for 3 more minutes or until mushrooms are done.
4Meanwhile cook the noodles according to package directions. Drain
5Remove from the heat. Drain the excess grease.
6Combine the meat mixture, olives, Tasty Tomato Sauce, tomato paste, soup, and noodles. Mix gently.
7Place the mixture in a casserole dish. Top with the shredded cheese.
8Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes or until heated through and cheese is melted.
