Ingredients

4 lb
boneless beef chuck roast
12
mushrooms, chopped
salt and pepper to taste
1 1/2 can(s)
beer
2 large
onions, thinly sliced
1 1/2 Tbsp
ketchup
2 large
green peppers, thinly sliced
1 Tbsp
prepared mustard

Step-By-Step

1Salt and pepper meat and brown lightly in heavy skillet.
2Add onions, pepper and mushrooms and brown lightly.
3Pour beer over all, stir in ketchup and mustard.
4Cover tightly and simmer slowly for 2 to 2 1/2 hours or until meat is tender.
