Was still going through Mom's recipe box and came across this one. I remember it from the 60's or maybe early 70's. Mom's sister had written it on a card and given it to her.

Ingredients

2 lb
ground round steak
2
eggs, beaten
1 1/2 c
plain bread crumbs
3/4 c
ketchup
1 tsp
accent
1/2 c
warm water
1 pkg
dry onion soup mix
2
strips bacon
1
8 oz. can tomato sauce

Step-By-Step

1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2Thoroughly mix all ingredients (except bacon and tomato sauce) and place in a loaf pan.

3Cover with bacon strips to flavor if you like.

4Pour tomato sauce over all.

5Bake for 1 hour.
