Coat beef with flour.Heat oil in 6 qt.saucepot.Add beef in two batches until browned.Remove beef and pour off fat.
Stir in juice,broth,,onion and black pepper.Heat to a boil.Add meat and cover.Reduce heat for 1 hour.
Add carrots,potatoes cover and cook for another hour.Add salt to taste.I like to add a little crystal hot sauce for my uncles taste.
