Chinese Peanut Sauce

I like to serve this over pasta with steamed vegetables. Garnish with some diced cucumber.

Ingredients

1/2 c
peanut butter (you can use either creamy or crunchy)
3/4 c
hot water
2 Tbsp
tamari
2 Tbsp
sugar
3 clove
garlic, minced
1 tsp
cider vinegar
cayenne, to taste
salt, to taste

Step-By-Step

1Place peanut butter in a bowl. Add hot water and stir until wel mixed and smooth.
2Stir in remaining ingredients and mix well. Sauce will thicken as it cools. (It can get thicker than you think it will, so you want it a little on the thin side. If it is too thick, add a little hot water - too thin, add peanut butter.)
