1 pt Boiling cider vinegar
6 Cloves garlic (peeled and halved)

Pour vinegar into a jar, drop in garlic, cover, and let stand 24 hours at room temperature. Discard garlic,strain vinegar through a double thickness of cheesecloth into a fresh pint jar. Use for making salad dressings and sauces.
