Flaming Nectarine Ice Cream Topping

- 2 Tbs. butter or margarine
- 2 Tbs. packed brown sugar
- 1 Tbs. Lemon juice
- 3 nectarines or peaches, sliced
- 1/4 C. light rum
1In a skillet or chafing dish cook butter, sugar and lemon juice over medium heat until bubbly. Add nectarines; cook until heated through and glazed, about 3 minutes, stirring occasionally. Push fruit and sauce to one side of skillet; add rum to dry spot in hot skillet and ignite if desired. Serve hot over ice cream.
