6 oz. Cream cheese
1/2 C. Butter (or margarine) softened
2 tsp. Vanilla
4 1/4 to 4 1/2 C. Sifted powdered sugar
1/4 C. Unsweetened cocoa powder

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large mixing bowl beat cream cheese, butter (or margarine), cocoa powder, and vanilla with an electric mixer on medium to high speed until light and fluffy. Gradually add 2 cups of the powdered sugar, beating well. Gradually beat in enough of the remaining powdered sugar to make the frosting of spreading consistency.
