Step 1In a heavy saucepan slightly beat the egg with a fork. Stir in the evaporated milk and sugar. Add butter (or margarine). Cook and stir over medium heat about 12 minutes or until thickened and bubbly. Stir in coconut and pecans. Cool thoroughly.
