It's Time to Party Punch

Shelley Simpson

This is the punch that I prepare for all my gatherings, such as, showers, school parties, Tupperware parties, etc. This is tried and true and goes down so easy!

pinch tips: How to Chill a Drink in 2 Minutes

cup of sugar
cup of tang (a powdered drink mix)
tablespoon of almond extract
cups of water
cups of cranberry juice (or) pineapple juice - your choice (for christmas or thanksgiving i do the cranberry juice and for summer holiday's and festivities i use the pineapple juice)

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix all the ingredients together in a very large bowl or punch bowl. Cover with lid or foil and freeze without spilling, in the freezer until a slush forms or over night. (I freeze mine over night)
When ready to serve, add one 2 liter bottle of Ginger ale (or Vernor's, if you are from Michigan)to create a frothy slush punch.
May double or triple and keep in freezer for larger gatherings. (or can keep frozen mixture in freezer covered with a lid and scoop out individual servings into a cup and adding ginger ale to the cup separately to your individual guests if it is a smaller gathering. (and be able to use through out the holiday)
