In a 3- quart sauce pan, combine 1 cup water, sugar, salt and spices omitting cinnamon sticks. Combine cranberry sauce and 3 ups water in a bowl till smooth. Add cranberry mixture and pineapple juice to hot spiced syrup. Bring to boil again.
Serve hot with cinnamon sticks as stirrers. You may add a dab of butter or a splash of wine with it.
