This recipe is very rich and good. If you don't like whiskey, try rum. Or just leave the alcohol out. It is still very good!

Ingredients

eggs
1 1/2 c
sugar
1/2 c
whole milk
1 tsp
ground nutmeg
1 tsp
ground cinnamon
2 c
heavy whipping cream
1 pt
borden vanilla ice cream
4 c
borden egg nog
10 oz
cool whip
1 c
crown royal whiskey

Step-By-Step

1Beat the eggs well with an electric mixer. Add the sugar, milk, nutmeg, and cinnamon.
2Cook on very low heat for 25 minutes.
3In another bowl, combine the whipping cream and softened ice cream.
4Combine with the cooled egg mixture. Pour into a mold and freeze. This part of the recipe can be done several days in advance.
5Combine the egg nog, cool whip, and whiskey in a punch bowl when ready to serve. Add the frozen egg nog that you made. It will stay all day if frozen well.
