Texas Sized Cocoa gift in a jar

Stormy Stewart

Everything is bigger in Texas even the cocoa. This makes a gallon sized Jar.

You can get gallon sized jars in restraunts, concession stands, school cafeterias, or buy them filled with pickles from plases like Sam's club or GFS. You can use either glass or plastic. But make sure all smells are gone from the jar before using. You can also get nice looking gallon or 4 liter Jars from import stores, and every so often at a Dollar general or Big Lots.

Basket Ideas:
4 mugs, a can of redi whip, the jar of cocoa, a loaf of homemade bread, and homemade jam

pinch tips: How to Chill a Drink in 2 Minutes

1 box
(8 qt) powdered milk
1 jar(s)
(11 oz) powdered creamer
1 tsp
2 box
(1 pound each)chocolate flavored quik
1/2 c
brown sugar, firmly packed
1/2 c
powdered sugar

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix milk, creamer, sugar and salt in a large bowl or pan. Remove 1/2 and put into another large bowl, to that add 1 box Quik. You now have a white layer a pale chocolate layer and the box of quik as a third layer. Now you can either use each layer to fill or use half the mixes for 6 layers. You vcan even do them like sand art. Decorate the jar with something as big as Texas and attach this tag
Texas Sized Cocoa

Empty the mix into something large enough to hold it. whisk it until blended and put back into the jar.

To use place 3 tablespoons into a mug of boiling water. Stir and top with whipped cream and a few chocolate sprinkles.
