- 3/4 c
- filtered water
- 2 tsp
- assam loose leaf tea
- 1/2 c
- milk (for best flavor use whole milk)
- sugar, if you like your tea sweetened (i used honey)
1Bring the water to the boil.
2Add the loose tea directly into the water. Lower heat medium-low heat. Simmer 2 minutes. Do not boil.
3Add the milk. Heat gently until hot.
4Pour the tea through a fine mesh strainer directly into a warmed tea cup. Sweeten if desired.
