Hot Cranberry Punch (non-alcoholic)

This delicious punch has been enjoyed during the Victorian Christmas celebration at the Burgess Museum in Cape Cod for years.

Ingredients

2 c
granulated sugar
1 c
water
1 c
lemon juice
4 c
cranberry juice
4 c
pineapple juice
1/2 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 tsp
ginger
lemon slices studded with cloves

Directions

Boil sugar and water over medium heat for 10 minutes. Add lemon, cranberry and pineapple juices and spices. Heat slowly until just boiling. Cool slightly, pour into warmed punch bowl. Garnish with lemon slices studded with cloves.
Serves: 20 4-ounce servings.
