These Hot Chocolate Jars make the perfect gift. They are very affordable to put together and can be made well in advance, allowing you plenty of time to get on with enjoying the build up to Christmas.

Ingredients For hot chocolate for gifting

  • 500 ml
    sealable jar
  • 75 g
    powdered milk
  • 75 g
    unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 50 g
    sugar (you can use white sugar, brown sugar or coconut sugar)
  • 50 g
    dark chocolate chunks (small sized)
  • 4
    candy canes, crushed
  • 25 g
    mini marshmallows

How To Make hot chocolate for gifting

    Wash and dry the jar and lid thoroughly. Spoon each of the ingredients into the jar, one at a time. Decorate and add a homemade label with the following instructions:

    "To serve, mix the ingredients together in the jar. Add 3 tablespoons of the mixture to a cup of boiling water. Stir and enjoy! The hot chocolate mix will keep in the jar for up to 4 months"
