This is another recipe I have written on notebook paper. I never expected to need the source, I guess. It was a long time ago, that it was written down. Sounds very tasty.

Ingredients For mulled apple juice (in slow cooker)

  • 1
    cinnamon stick, broken
  • 1 tsp
    whole allspice
  • 1 tsp
    whole cloves
  • 10 c
    apple juice (2 1/2 quarts)
  • 1/3 c
    honey or packed brown sugar
  • cinnamon sticks (optional stirrers/garnish)

How To Make mulled apple juice (in slow cooker)

    Tie broken cinnamon stick, allspice and cloves in a spice bag, or make one out of cheesecloth.

    In a 3 1/2 to 6 quart crockery cooker, combine spice bag, apple juice, and honey or brown sugar. Cover.

    Cook on HIGH for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or on LOW for 5-6 hours.

    Remove spice bag and discard. Serve juice in mugs with cinnamon stirrers, if desired. Makes 10 (8 oz.) servings.
