Carnival Rio (Cocktail)

This is another cachaca-based cocktail recipe that was created for the annual Carnival in Rio de Janeiro, but it's meant to be enjoyed everywhere, at anytime.

Ingredients

3
ice cubes
2 oz
pineapple juice
1 oz
coconut liqueur
1 1/2 oz
cachaca liquor
3/4 oz
light cream
2 tsp
dark rum
crushed ice
1/4 slice
pineapple, for garnish

Step-By-Step

1Place ice cubes in a cocktail shaker. Add pineapple juice, coconut liqueur, cachaca, cream and rum; shake well.
2Add crushed ice to a Collins glass. Strain drink into glass over crushed ice.
3Place pineapple garnish on rim of glass, and serve.
