Sparkling Fruit Smoothies

- yogurt, plain or fruit flavored
- 2 c
- fresh fruit, cut up
- 1/4 tsp
- nutmeg, freshly grated
- 2/3 c
- ice cold champagne, sparkling water or gingerale
- mint sprigs or fruit slices for garnish, optional
1Combine the yogurt, fruit and nutmeg in a blender; process until smooth.
2Pour into glasses, filling 3/4 full.
3Top off with champagne, sparkling water or ginger ale.
4Gently stir to combine.
5Garnish with mint sprigs or fruit slices, if desired.
