Publix Grocery store had mangoes on sale.... 10 for $10.. whoooo!

One of my favorite drinks in the world is Mango Lassi. I love making curry, and there is nothing more refreshing and pallet cleansing than a chilly mango lassi. Lassis have a great way of pulling all the spice from Indian curry off your tongue the minute you are done tasting it. Perfect drink. Yummy, sweet and frothy.

Here's my recipe for a traditional mango lassi.

Ingredients

whole mangoes, peeled and diced
1/2 c
whole milk
1 c
unflavored yogurt
1 tsp
pure vanilla extract
1/2 tsp
ground ginger
3 Tbsp
honey
1/4 tsp
green cardamom powder
1/2 Tbsp
lemon juice, fresh
ground cinnamon, garnish

Directions Step-By-Step

VERY EASY!!!!

Combine all ingredients; except for the garnish of course; into a blender and blend until very frothy!

Serve in a chilled glass and garnish with cinnamon.

Side note: I preferred a chilled glass over serving it with ice. I find the ice to dilute the lassi as it melts. Not as nice.
