Ingredients

1/2 c	evaporated milk (1 12-ounce can)
1 c	irish whiskey
2/3 c	granulated sugar
1 Tbsp	hershey's chocolate syrup
1 tsp	vanilla extract
1/2 tsp	instant coffee

Melanie's Notes:

This recipe is great and it only costs about $8 to make compared to $25 in a store. I found also that if you cut the whiskey down to 3/4 cup, double the chocolate and use 3/4 teaspoon of coffee you get the best results.

Directions

Combine all the ingredients in a pitcher and mix well or shake until sugar is dissolved. Store in the refrigerator in a sealed container. Shake before serving.

Question---is it 1/2 cup milk, which is 4 oz., or is it 1 12oz can ??
Sounds yummy, but I want to make sure of the measurements !

Read the receipe...it says,

1/2 c evaporated milk (1 12-ounce can)

Translation:

Use a 1/2 cup from a 1 12-ounce can. So you should buy a 12oz can and only use a 1/2 cup

In that case, why not buy a 5 oz can and use 1/2 cup ( 4oz). Less waste.
