This banana pudding is one of two favorites of my husbands. This recipe was given to me by one of his aunts and was revamped by me to make it a bit richer. He loved my changes. I hope you try this delicious banana pudding.

Ingredients

4 large
bananas
12
(sheets of four) graham crackers
4
egg yolks, beaten
2 c
heavy cream
2 c
milk
4 Tbsp
corn starch
1 1/2 c
sugar
1/4 tsp
salt
3 Tbsp
butter
2 tsp
vanilla extract
Whipped
cream to top - i usually use a large container or make my own
Some
crumbs for the top to garnish

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large saucepan over med - low heat, whisk together the milks, sugar, cornstarch and egg yolks. Stir constantly until thickened.

Remove from heat and stir in the butter and vanilla.

In a 9 x 13 dish, layer 1/2 the sheets of graham crackers, breaking into large pieces. Slice half the bananas evenly over the crackers. Evenly pour 1/ 2 of the pudding over the bananas, spreading too even with a spatula.

Repeat layer and cover pudding with plastic wrap, to prevent a skin.

Refrigerate several hours to chill. Top with whipped cream and sprinkle with some crushed graham crackers if desired.
