I always had a hard time remembering how to make rice pudding, which my family loved, so one day I made up this recipe, something I could always remember,and whip it up any evening after dinner.

Ingredients

1 c
sugar
2 c
cooked rice
3 c
milk, whole
4 large
eggs
1 tsp
vanilla extract
1 pinch
salt
1 pinch
cinnamon, ground
1/2 c
raisins (optional)

Step-By-Step

1Mix all aforesaid together,pour into well buttered 2 1/2 quart glass mixing bowl. Place bowl in a pan of water about 2 inches deep and bake at 350 until knife inserted in center comes out clean, about 1 hour.
