pamela's StoryThis is an easy and inexpensive recipe invented by my brother Joel Jay Amaral. He makes it every year for Christmas and I have added it to my "Blue Ribbon Recipe Collection" I was publishing. I would like to enter it in a recipe contest with the hopes of winning another Blue Ribbon.
pistachio jello pudding
tub of cool whip
bag of marshmellows
8 OZ-16 OZ
crushed nuts you prefere (walnuts etc.)
fresh coconut (optional)
1MIX EACH INGREDIENT TOGETHER STARTING WITH THE TOP AND WORK YOUR WAY DOWN THE LIST. CHILL FOR 4 HOURS AND PUDDING IS SET.

I have a variation to Missy's recipe and the first thing I did ws copy her recipe and know that I am going to try it. I haave entered my brother's recipe. I have to admit it is really good. I do believe you are suppose to prepare the pistashio jello/pudding first and then start adding your other ingredients. I was given this recipe to publish in my cookbook. I'll buy the ingredients next pay period and I will make it for this contest and submit a picture.

I also have something similar. Years ago it was called "Watergate Salad" from the famous Watergate Hotel. The juice from the pineapple serves as liquid so don't drain the pineapple. :)
