Kathie's Notes:

This is a quick and simple pudding that everyone seems to like. Its kid friendly. Mom made it often to top off a Sunday supper of sandwiches and a salad.

Directions

1
In a large mixing bowl combine Eagle Brand milk and water. Add pudding mix and beat until well blended.Chill for about 5 minutes.

Meanwhile whip the whipping cream. Remove pudding mixture from frig and fold in most of whipping cream, reserving about 1/2 cup for top garnish.
2
Spoon about 1 cup of pudding mixture into a 2 1/2 quart glass bowl. Top with 1/3 of wafers and 1/3 of banana slices. Repeat layers 2 times and end with reserved whipped cream on center of top layer.

Chill well and serve.

Kathie I remember something like this from my childhood :) lol. In fact, I wonder if it was this very recipe. Anyway, I assembled all the layers and stuck it in the fridge. About how long does it need to chill until it is ready to serve? I feel like I'm 5 years old again - waiting for the dessert to be done. haha :)
