Mmmmmmmmmm! From my old neighbor of mine back in IL.

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
boiling water
3 oz. pkg
jell-o gelatin, flavor of your choice, fat free sugar free
8 oz. pkg
cool whip free
GARNISH:
cool whip free

Directions Step-By-Step

In a large bowl, add jell-o & boiling water; stir 2 minutes or until jell-o is dissolved. Cool to room temperature, about 1 hour.

Whisk in cool whip until blended.

Pour into mold, if desired or just leave in the bowl. Refrigerate 8 hours or until firm. Garnish with addtional cool whip free, if desired.

I think I'm ok with butter. Milk - no way. I use the Lactaid Milk...it taste great & I don't have problems. I deal with the pain with ice cream...no way I'm giving that up!

Isn't it awful! I can't even eat what has a little butter or milk in it!

My late mother-in-law showed me how to make this more than 45 years ago. My family loved it. Haven't made it in many years since I'm lactose intomerant and can't ave the Cool Whip though. A quick and tasty dessert!
