Bread Pudding (Budin de Pan)

- 5 large slices wheat bread
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 4 cups milk
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp. each: cinnamon, vanilla
- 1/4 cup each raisins, walnuts
1Preheat oven to 350. Cut bread into bite size pieces and put at bottom of baking dish.
2Mix together the eggs, milk, sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Pour over bread. Sprinkle on raisins and lightly crushed walnuts. Bake 30 minutes til pudding sets. A topping of ice cream, whipped cream, fruit or warm milk goes well on this pudding.
