Ingredients

1 qt
milk
4
eggs
1/2 c
sugar
1 pinch
salt
2 tsp
cornstarch
1 tsp
vanilla

Step-By-Step

1Beat eggs, salt, sugar and cornstarch.
2Add milk and pour in double boiler.
3Start on high heat until starting to get thick then reduce to medium heat...stirring constantly or it will scald.
4When thick, pour into container and refrigerate several hours until chilled. Serve plain or over ice cream.
