1Put 1 cup sugar in heavy skillet. cook over medium heat,stirring with wooden spoon til sugar melts and turns golden, about 10 minutes. Pour mixture quickly into a jelly roll pan lined with foil, and let cool. break candy into coarse pieces.
2Make pudding as directed on package but using 3 cups evaporated milk. Fold whipped cream into pudding.
3Cook bananas in brown sugar and butter in large skillet over medium heat just til sugar melts and bananas are glazed. Remove from heat and stir in rum
4Sprinkle banana liqueur evenly over pound cake cubes. Layer pudding, cake cubes, glazed bananas and remaining pudding in 8 large glasses.
5Beat 1/2 cup whipping cream til foamy; gradually add powdered sugar, beating til soft peaks form. Dollop whipped cream over parfaits. Top with candy. makes 8 servings.
