Tina's Oatmeal Pie Shell

This shell is a bit healthier than the usual white flour one. I bet it would be good filled with Butterscotch pudding pie filling

Ingredients

1 1/2 c
uncooked rolled oats
1/4 c
whole wheat flour
1 tsp
cinnamon
1/2 c
butter, melted
1/4 c
honey

Step-By-Step

1Mix all and press into greased pie pan.
2Bake 10 minutes at 375 degrees.
3I have made this with a filling of beating 1 can almond pie fill, 8 oz. cream cheese, zest of 1 lemon, 2 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice and 1 Tablespoon Gran Marnier. Mound into cooled shell. Garnish with sliced toasted almonds and chill
4It would also be yummy with maple nut or butter pecan ice cream filling....oh the possibilities are endless!!
