I have been trying to do homemade pizza once a week as a treat. Going out or ordering anything in is a big whoopla. Well, I actually don't even want to anymore after making this. By far, my favorite!!

Ingredients

CRUST

1 c
warm water
3 Tbsp
olive oil
3 Tbsp
sugar
1 tsp
salt
2 1/2 c
bread flour
3 clove
garlic, minced or grated ( about 2-3 tsp)
2 1/4 tsp
dry active yeast
1/2 tsp
dried oregano
1/2 tsp
dried basil

TOPPINGS

1/2 small
onion diced
1/4
green bell pepper, diced
2 c
shredded pizza cheese
2 Tbsp
parmesan cheese
2 slice
deli-style turkey
2 slice
ham, smoked and deli-sliced
1 slice
hard salami, sliced, from deli
1 c
prepared pizza sauce, or homemade sauce
1/2
roma tomato, diced in large chunks

Directions Step-By-Step

1
Combine water, olive oil, sugar, salt in pan of bread machine
2
In a separate bowl add flour, then sprinkle garlic on flour and add the basil and oregano. Stir quickly to combine and add to bread machine. Lastly add yeast.
3
Turn machine on dough cycle. Let the dough go through the cycle (mine is about 1 hr 30 min. After the machine is done and beeps, let the dough rest from 5 to 30 minutes as you prepare the toppings. (I just chop them into a dice size and place them to a bowl, hand toss them together, set aside) The longer it rests, the thicker and more tasty the crust. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 475°F.
Dump the dough out onto a sprayed pan you will bake the pizza on. Add 1 cup of sauce and add your choice of pizza toppings.
Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 12 to 15 minutes.
