Ingredients

1 pkg	6-serving vanilla instant pudding mix
8 oz can(s)	crushed pineapple with juice
2 c	sour cream
1	9 inch graham cracker or short bread pie crust
2 c	whipped topping, thawed

This has been my go-to recipe for years whenever I was asked to bring dessert. Once again, it has all the qualities I look for -- simple recipe, easy to get ingredients, and unique taste.

Directions

Combine pudding mix, pineapple with juice, and sour cream in deep narrow bowl.

Beat slowly with rotary beater or lowest speed of electric mixer for one minute.

Pour into pie crust.

Chill about 3 hours.

Garnish with whipped topping.

wow!! this has been my go to recipe also i found it in a magazine advertising maxwell house coffee around 1974 or 75 and i love it! my grandkids r making it now! glad u shared recommend it to all pineapple lovers!!

Thanks, Vangie -- I have a book from Jello pudding published in 1979 that contained it. I just dropped the sugar, don't think it is necessary. It was always a favorite with my nieces, brother-in-law, and now my co-workers.
