Nutter Butter Peanut Butter Pie

Had a family gathering at Thanksgiving several years back and my nephew's wife brought this pie. It was gone in a matter of minutes. It is very rich so should serve more people than your average pie. Not with my bunch! This pie is so easy to make. Also the ingredients are easy to have on hand for a surprise invitation to dinner.

Ingredients

CRUST

nutter butter peanut butter cookies
5 Tbsp
butter, melted

FILLING

1 c
creamy peanut butter
3/4 c
sugar
8 oz
cream cheese
1 Tbsp
vanilla extract
8 oz
cool whip

TOPPING

1/2 c
cool whip
3 Tbsp
drizzle hersheys syrup

Directions Step-By-Step

Melt butter in microwave. Chop cookies in food processor till small crumbs. Mix and press into a deep dish pie pan.

Let cream cheese become room temp. In a bowl mix together, cream cheese, peanut butter, vanilla, and sugar. Fold in the cool whip. Place filling on top of crust and place in freezer.

When ready to serve put last bit of cool whip on top. Make real smooth and then take Hershey's syrup and drizzle a lattice design on pie. Also can save and use about a tablespoon of cookie crumb to sprinkle on top. Easier to cut if you let pie sit out for a few minutes from the freezer.
