This is an old recipe. Great for when you are craving a chocolate pie but are running short on eggs. This is very good even if it doesn't use a lot of eggs and you don't have to worry about tempering the eggs either. It only makes one pie.

19" baked pie crust

sweetened whipped cream for topping
How To Make mimi's one egg chocolate pie

1Combine sugar, cocoa and flour in saucepan making sure there are no lumps.

2Add beaten egg and milk cooking over medium heat stirring well until mixture thickens. Remove from heat and stir in butter and vanilla.

3Pour into pre-baked crust and chill. Serve with sweetend whipping cream, if desired.
