Lemon Meringue Pie

My whole family loves this pie. I make two at a time.

Ingredients

eggs, separated
1 can(s)
sweetened condensed milk
1/2 c
sugar divided in half
1/2 c
lemon juice
1
graham cracker pie crust

vanilla wafers- optional

Directions Step-By-Step

By hand. Mix yolks, 1/4 c. sugar, lemon juice and condensed milk until smooth.
Pour into pie crust & line outside with vanilla wafers.

Beat egg whites and add sugar slowly until stiff peaks form.

Pour onto pie and make sure to go all the way to the edges. (sealing the filling in)

Bake at 350 degrees until meringue is golden brown. Remove from stove and let cool completely before slicing.
