I heard about this pie on social media. It sounded weird, but easy and I had to try it. I'm glad I did. I have made it in several flavors, my favorite is using the dry, unsweetened pink lemonade flavored Kool-Aid. I really liked it using the dry, unsweetened black cherry flavored Kool-Aid as well.

method No-Cook or Other

Ingredients For kool-aid pie

  • 1
premade graham cracker crust (extra serving size)
  • 1 can
    sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 pkg
dry unsweetened kool-aid (any flavor, but pink lemonade is my favorite)
  • 1
8 ounce tub of cool whip, thawed

How To Make kool-aid pie

  • 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk and the packet of dry kool-aid powder until well mixed. I do this with a large spoon, no mixer needed.
  • 2
Fold the cool whip into the sweetened condensed milk/kool-aid mixture.
  • 3
Put the mixture into the prepared graham cracker crust. I use the extra serving size so when I put the lid on the pie pan, the filling doesn't get on the lid. If you want a fuller looking pie, just use the regular sized graham cracker crust.

Refrigerate the pie for 4 hours minimum. This pie holds up well when serving. It doesn't melt if it is out for a while.
