Ingredients

1/2 c
sugar
3
eggs
1 c
light corn syrup
1 Tbsp
melted butter
2 tsp
vanilla
1 1/4 c
pecan halves

FOR A HOMEMADE CRUST

1 c
all purpose flour
1/2 tsp
salt
1 tsp
sugar
1/3 cup plus 1 tbsp lard (yes i said lard) it will make the best tasting and flakiest crust you've ever had
2 Tbsp
cold water

Step-By-Step

1preheat oven to 350 degrees. make pie crust. I make mine in a food processor. Add flour, salt, sugar, and lard. Pulse until it is crumbly. add the water all at one time and keep on till it forms a ball. Roll it out on a lightly floured surface and put it in the pie plate.
2mix all ingredients together and pour into pie crust.
3bake for 45 minutes
