Ingredients

1 grahm cracker pie crust
1 pkg 3 oz cream cheese, softened
1/2 c sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 c hershey's cocoa powder
1/3 c milk ( i use evaporated )
8 oz thawed cool whip

I love and make alot of the Hershey's cocoa recipes. This is the pie one I make alot. So rich and good and at times I use splenda, and it is still scrumpsious

 

Directions

1
Combine cream cheese, sugar and vanilla until well blended with electric mixer
2
add cocoa alternately with milk beating until smooth
3
fold in cool whip until well combined
4
Spoon into pie shell
Chill until firm, or freeze

Yummy!!! When you use splenda do you use exact exchange for sugar?

just a scant less, seems it is sweeter and can ( in my opinion) have a little after taste.

I made this again today. I used SF cool whip, fat free cream cheese, and splends, added 1 tablespoon of peanut butter. ame out really rich, to be a makeover dessert ! I did serve it frozen.

I made one Saturday, it was gone by Monday. frozen reminded me of the little banquet frozen choc pies they used to sell for a buck few years ago, remember them ? they had choc, coconut and were about 6 to 8 " round
