My Favorite pecan pie because the recipe uses chopped pecans mixed into the syrup base and whole pecans placed on top.


1/2 c
whole pecans
1/2 c
chopped pecans
3 Tbsp
butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla creamed

eggs well beaten
1 tsp

dark corn syrup
pie crust (your favorite recipe)

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix butter and vanilla, sugar, beaten eggs,salt,and corn syrup. blend in chopped pecans and pour into pie shell. put whole pecans on top and bake 10 minutes at 450* then 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
