My Favorite pecan pie because the recipe uses chopped pecans mixed into the syrup base and whole pecans placed on top.
butter and 1 teaspoon vanilla creamed
eggs well beaten
dark corn syrup
pie crust (your favorite recipe)
1Mix butter and vanilla, sugar, beaten eggs,salt,and corn syrup. blend in chopped pecans and pour into pie shell. put whole pecans on top and bake 10 minutes at 450* then 30 to 35 minutes at 350 degrees.
