Gramma's Strawberry Pie

- 1 qt
- fresh strawberries, hulls cut off
- 3/4 c
- 1 c
- 3 Tbsp
- 1 tsp
- lemon juice
- inch baked pie crust (she made her own pie crust)
- whip cream to go on top
1Put all except 1 cup berries in the bottom of pie crust. Spred out good.
2Cook rest of berries in the water five minites.
3Put in sugar and stir good. Put in cornstarch.
4When this thikens put in lemon juice.
5Cook all this til it is clear.
6Pour all this over berries in the pie crust. Put in ice box (my note: place in refrigerator) until cool.
7Whip cream and put on top. Keep any pie that's left over in ice box.
