This is so good and so easy to make!

Blue Ribbon Recipe

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
This is a great seasonal dessert to serve to your guests or to take to a potluck.  I loved that I was able to use the eggnog I had left over from Christmas dinner. It is also VERY quick and easy to prepare... and the taste and smoothness is sure to be enjoyed by all!

Christy points out that it's best when prepared a day in advance - I also found this to be the case.

Ingredients

1 pkg
vanilla instant pudding
1 1/2 c
store bought eggnog
pinch
nutmeg
1
graham cracker pie crust
1
8 oz tub whipped topping, divided

Great Grandma Kennedy's Egg Nog Custard Pie

Hi, Christy! Thanks for posting your recipe on JAP. I was so surprised by the number of folks asking for recipes for making the Egg Nog. It is very simple to make from scratch, but my son discovered a 'paper box' quart of Egg Nog in a local Gas Station/Super Market started by students from The University of Maryland. This is a devine mixture, not calling for any additions to give you a thick, tasty liquid. If [of course] you chose to add alcohol, do not let it 'over work' the addition & weaken the final flavor! Thanks for posting this upon JAP!
