Paula Turner's Notes:

As a child I would only eat peanut butter & grape jelly sandwiches for lunch. This recipe was one that my mother, Earline, made for me on my birthday when I was about 8. Of course, it contained my favorite ingredient-PEANUT BUTTER! She passed away in 1985, but her peanut butter pie recipe lives on-now it's one of my husband's favorite pies!

Directions

1
In a mixer, beat cream cheese and peanut butter until smooth and creamy.
2
Add milk alternately with powdered sugar and beat on low until incorporated; Add vanilla and beat on high one minute.
3
Gently fold in whipped topping and pour into prepared crust. Refrigerate 1-2 hours until firm.
4
Cut into 8 servings and top with additional whipped topping and chopped peanuts.

I agree that this pie was easy to make and is yummy good. Instead of the plain graham cracker crust I used a chocolate crust. You know, up the whole chocolate peanut butter factor!

Cindy,
Have you ever made this using 'crunchy' peanut butter instead of creamy?
