Crust for Chess Pie
I saw this with the Chess Pie Recipes in my recipe book. I have not tried it yet but next time I will, It sounds good & easy.

- 1/2 c
- corn meal
- 3/4 c
- all-purpose flour
- 1/2 tsp
- 1/3 c
- 3-4 Tbsp
- cold water
1Sift the dry ingredients together.
2In a medium size bowl; cut-in the shortening in the flour mixture until mixture resembles course crumbs.
3Add water a tablespoon at a time until dampened. Form into a ball
4Roll out on a lightly floured board or cloth.
Place in a 9 inch pie plate. Add chess pie mixture and bake according to pie directions.
