I can't remember where I got this recipe from, but it is so easy and refreshing. A great pie for the summer months.

Notes from the Test Kitchen:
This pie is fruity, fresh and sweet...just what you want in a dessert! Every time I have made this people ask for the recipe! It is truly delightful. It taste like summer with every bite!

NOTE: Be careful not to let the watermelon jello mixture get to room temp because it starts to gel up and the flavor is not as strong. Mix it with the whipped cream as soon as it is dissolved, then I would fold in the watermelon pieces. I also let mine chill at least 4 hours or overnight. Mmmmm....

Ingredients

1 pkg
(3oz.) watermelon jello
1/4 c
boiling water
1 pkg
(12 oz.) cool whip
2 c
cubed seeded watermelon
1
graham cracker pie crust

Directions Step-By-Step

In large bowl, dissolve jello in boiling water. Cool to room temp.

Whisk in cool whip. Fold in watermelon. Spoon into crust.

Refrigerate 2 hrs, or until set.

I make this recipe all summer, people ask for it for barbecues the entire season. It's so very good, easy to make and I actually double the amount of watermelon I chop up and double the amount of cool whip and make it nice and high. Love this and thank you again for posting this recipe.

Try it with fresh peaches and peach jello. Out of this world.

Hello again:
I have made this twice for my Life Group ladies and it's now my go to dessert for dinners, parties etc. In fact, I've got one in the fridge as I write this because I've been asked to bring it to a barbeque dinner this evening. I did top mine with more cool whip It's soooo easy and good! Thank you for posting!
