Chocolate Pecan Pie

I tried this recipe many years ago because I wanted something to make my plain chocolate pie a little special. We loved it. I just put a dollop of coolwhip on it when I serve it. These are not my images; they are from the internet for illustration purposes only. I will add my own pictures when I make this again.

Ingredients

2/3 c
evaporated milk
2 Tbsp
butter
12 oz
semi-sweet chocolate chips
2 large
eggs
1 c
light corn syrup
2 Tbsp
flour
1/4 tsp
salt
1 1/2 c
pecans or walnuts, halves or chopped
1 tsp
vanilla
1
9-inch pie shell, unbaked

Step-By-Step

1In a medium sauce pan, combine milk, butter and chocolate. Stir over low heat until melted.

2In a bowl, mix eggs, syrup, flour and salt. Stir to combine well. Add to chocolate mixture and stir until heated and smooth.

3Remove from heat, add nuts and vanilla.

4Pour mixture into unbaked pie shell and back at 375 F for about 45 minutes.
