Ingredients

1 c
butter, melted and cooled
1/2 c
sugar
1/2 c
brown sugar
1 tsp
vanilla

eggs, beaten
1/2 c
flour
1/2 to 1 c
pecans
1 c
chocolate chips
1
(9 inch) unbaked pie crust

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix the butter and the sugars with an electric mixer. Add the vanilla, eggs and flour and mix well.
Stir in chocolate chips and pecans, and pour into an unbaked pie crust.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes.
Cool on wire rack.
If using frozen pie shell, use deep-dish style, thawed completely.
Bake on baking sheet; increase baking time slightly.

Can be served warm with whipped cream.
