My family loves Pecan pie and Apples with caramel. I decided to combine them and satisfy both cravings. It has been a great hit during the holidays, and looks very appetizing.
granny smith apples (peeled, cored & sliced)
2 1/2 Tbsp
light brown sugar (packed)
dark corn syrup
eggs (slightly beaten)
1Mix and set aside sliced apples and tapioca.
2Mix the remaining ingredients together and add to apple mixture. Pour into 9" deep pie crust dusted with flour on both sides to prevent from sticking to pie pan. Top with a lattice crust design.
3Brush with milk on top pie crust and dust with cinnamon and sugar.
4Bake 350* for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Drizzle with your favorite caramel topping while still warm.
Let cool and serve. Yummm!
