My family loves Pecan pie and Apples with caramel. I decided to combine them and satisfy both cravings. It has been a great hit during the holidays, and looks very appetizing.

5 c
granny smith apples (peeled, cored & sliced)
2 1/2 Tbsp
minute tapioca
1 c
light brown sugar (packed)
1 c
dark corn syrup
eggs (slightly beaten)
1 c
pecan pieces
1 tsp
dark vanilla

Directions Step-By-Step

Mix and set aside sliced apples and tapioca.
Mix the remaining ingredients together and add to apple mixture. Pour into 9" deep pie crust dusted with flour on both sides to prevent from sticking to pie pan. Top with a lattice crust design.
Brush with milk on top pie crust and dust with cinnamon and sugar.
Bake 350* for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Drizzle with your favorite caramel topping while still warm.
Let cool and serve. Yummm!
